Callum Williams

Data Scientist
Callum is a Data Scientist who joined 2OS in June 2025 after graduating with an M.S. in Economics and Computation at Duke University in May of the same year. During his time at Duke, he worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Ellen Meade analyzing Federal Reserve communications. He also contributed to the development of fellow students as a Teaching Assistant. Callum’s own research focused on the intersection of economics and climate modeling, integrating reinforcement learning into existing theory. Originally from the United Kingdom, Callum completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Warwick and was awarded the Peggy Ford Memorial Prize.
In between his undergraduate studies and graduate school, Callum worked as a Data Scientist for Admiral Group and spent his time modeling motor vehicle risk. He also interned at OneMain Financial as a Data Analyst, primarily focusing on monitoring model performance and analyzing A/B product tests.
In his free time, Callum enjoys staying active, playing a wide variety of sports, and is an avid soccer fan who supports Cardiff City. Unsurprisingly, as a Duke graduate, he is also a massive college basketball fan.
