Mengqi joined 2OS as a Data Scientist in November 2021. She applies her data wrangling and statistical modeling skills and growing knowledge of the lending industry to meet the needs of 2OS clients. Mengqi has worked on various projects, including feature engineering, building risk models, and conducting due diligences.

Before 2OS, Mengqi worked as a Data Scientist at a small credit card issuing company focusing on the sub-prime population. Mengqi has a Master in Statistics from Columbia University and received her B.S. in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

Outside of work, Mengqi spends most of her time hiking with her dog Tanooki, kayaking in the summer, and skiing in the winter. She also enjoys making desserts; matcha crepes and English scones are her favorites.
